*First start with filing a complaint with the department they work for, Example:( Redding Police officer, Write the complaint to Redding Police dept. A Shasta county Sheriff , Write the complaint to Shasta County Sheriff. ETC.) Then make 4 copies of each complaint.
1, For your Recodes (Your receipt)
2, For the District Attorney (DA)in your area Shasta county District Attorney,
3,For the Grand Jury in your area. In our Area it would be Shasta County Grand Jury.
4, for the Attorney General of California. Make sure if sending threw the mail you send it registered! That way someone will have to sign for it and they can not say that they never got it. Fax is also good keep your face page! If you do it Via foot work, ( Delivering them yourself) Make sure you give the complaint directly to the person who is above everyone else at the dept. Such as a Sargent, Manager etc.
The Grand Jury, Then the Attorney General & Lastly the Governor of California. ( We have tried to make a complaint to the Shasta county D.A. About their officers, But they refused to except any complaints. * I wonder why. )

I was also told by the Civil Liberty's Union that anyone whom is fed up with the law enforcement corruption here in Shasta County should get together as a group and go to the Shasta County Supervisors meetings and speak up together. I was advised not to go alone, but as a group.
This will get some eyes open to the law enforcement's misconducts and let them know that we as a community will not stand by and just watch as they
bully us around attack us or our loved ones any longer. If you are willing to go to the meeting and let them know what you have been threw, your loved one's have been threw. what you have seen that law enforcement has done wrong. Please let us know by emailing us with a way we can get a message to you email, phone number etc. And when we think we have enough people and know of a date, time & place a Shasta County Supervisor meeting is taking place we will contact you ahead of time to let you know. we really need to make this a R.S.V.P, So we know we will have enough people to attend. We will also post the time, date and place on here as soon as we know them.

I also have a handbook I would like you to have if you are concerned about police misconduct, I was given this by the Civil Liberty's union. it has about 50 pages! it tells you everything you need to know and what you have to do to fix the problem you might have with law enforcement (This handbook has a list of county's which it was meant for. But I was told that it would help us as well.)

Where do I begin. My husband currently has Babbitts and well He's been in jail since April and has yet to meet with him. She just stuttered with nothing to say in his defense. I have evidence that he did not commit all the crimes they are charging him with. Not only that but I am the supposed sole victim and witness. They intimidated me and cohersed me into saying things by offering me "protection" from this man that as they put it wants to killing me and is planning to so I need to pack a bag ask no questions and leave my home with these unexpected visiters so that I can live to see tomorrow. She will not return my calls to take the documents and evidence and the DA actually is making my life hell for not cooperating with their lies. So while they are busy building a three strikes case,(2 of which are pending in this case)his now 5th public pretender doesn't even know his name and lets him sit in jail refusing evidence. Heck she won't even show up at her office. Someone help! Where's this petition? He just requested a Marstin hearing so we will see how that goes I guess. His family has had to send him copies of the evidence just so that he can find some other way to get it to the judge..... M. Green(Kent)
I think they did and Im ruined for 3 years because of it...throughout a case for a DUI w/injury (Literally a small bruise on the thigh) 18 yrs old, fighting a sentence of 4 yrs in prison. The agreement was 90 days in jail, one year felony probation as long as I do not violate any terms, remaining 2 yrs on informal.
Transferred to Sacramento, they do not have it on record. Contacted Shasta County, they say there's nothing there and to contact the attorney that represented me....she doesnt exist...I only had 4 more months until I could get actual jobs with potential to grown instead of my 2 part time jobs just to make one full time because my applications are pretty muched rejected automatically.
Shasta County has about the most lame justice system....I sat in the court waiting for my turn and watched a cop tell one story that made it sound to some degree bad, and the judge (Curle) took it in a way worse of a way and thats how they kept it, as if the cop didnt want to disagree with the judge.
My father had court here fighting a case that in the long run we actually overturned, but during the actual court dates, the defender would not speak up the facts on hand, and when we told him what he needed to start saying, his words were "We dont want to make the judge mad"
Judge Curle has had a drug charge along with people in his family, but if you were to search this up on the site that represents all inmates (ShastaMugshots) they dont let you see but one member, and even at that it wont let you see his charges unlike everyone else on the site. The cops work together constantly herrasing us. I recieved 3 yrs informal probation when I was younger while me and my friend were walking to his house. They pulled us over and began asking us questions have they supposedly had mistaken headphones hanging out my friends pocket as a weed pipe. After I told them I dont feel like talking anymore, they told me word for word "Get the fuck out of here" Went to shake my friends hand, and was accused of obstruction of justice. After that the cop grabbed my wrist, put my hand behind my back and lifted. when he lifted natural response was to lift with it, and accidently hit him (not hard) with my elbow. He smiled and said thats battery on a cop and proceeded by tackling my along with his partner, both at least 200 pounds while I was only 150 tops.
I would love to see someone actualy take a stand against these people while on nation wide tv....If they were to be televised while asked questions that were unfair ways they have worked, 75% of the people attempted to be interviewed would instantly say no comment...Its a given.
all we would need is minorities in redding to get serious with it and record them a little more often when your just walking around....you can almost always catch them speeding...I bet we would find MORE cops drinking and driving at night when they are huddled behind the coffee joint right there by Churn Creek and Mistle Toe....
I dont live there no more, I have bigger fish to fry than worry about probation just looking for a way to get me caught up again....Im actually trying to get a life where I have a fair chance at least....
This 3 yrs felony is not going to help at all.
