I have lived in Shasta Co. since i was eleven , i am now fifty three,sorry to say i have witnessed & been treated with many unexceptable police unfairness acts,abuse & corruption through out the entire law enforcement system from the cops to the judge. Its very sad that we cant figure out a better way of handeling laws and law breakers i have beautiful innocent grandchildren growing up and i wonder what kind of life it will be.I know the police have a unimagineable job to carry out for there are people that do such evil mean things the police have to be tough to do there job. but when the police are as dishonest,evil & corruppt as the criminals its a very scary dangerous wourld for normal people.The real bad guys seem to protect there selfs through the judicial system much better then some one who gets in a little trouble with the law. I have several horible encounters with police but i will tell a little about my first eye opener to tell the truth be fair & if you go to court every thing will be fair & just.My daughters grandmother worked for R.P.D. for twenty two years, when my daughter was five her father &i broke up. he wanted me to go back to him, i could not,i didn't realise how unfair the world could be. because i said no, we went to court for custody his mom & family were friends with the judge Redmon they took my little girl they made it very hard to see her,it almost killed me and her as we were very close he was molesting and mentaly abuseing her. She is mentaly ill very messed up for life shes twenty eight.He did not do one day in jail he was booked and rleased and put on probation.At that time i went to get my child she was twelve they said i had to go threw hoops becausee i didn't fight enough in court against them when Redmon & Shasta Co. took her and turned her over to him.{Ididn't stand a snowballs chance in hell}! It took me four years to get her out of the system not because of me they said she had borderline personality disorder & she would hurt me & her younger half sister.They said walk away you have one healhty child leave her.I could not,She does have what they said & she has been brutal to us and her self its not her fault ITS SHASTA CO.S FAULT. Now she is doing crazy bad things, and guess what the police think, i did something to hurt her to damage her,her dad goes unpunished her grandmother takes no responsability and Shasta co. well what do you think they are going to say, sorry at least for destroying your daughter? No. They did say after four years of c.p.s. and five years of her being tortured by her dad, (the systems not always perfect) no what i say f--- you shasta co.! R.B.
Where do we sign? We have family members and friends that have become victims of the Shasta County judicial system, where the players in the system openly display bias, corruption, collusion and coercion in its court rooms and other offical offices on a daily basis.
Falsely charging a single mom with felony child abduction based soley on the estranged fathers false reports. Granted the charges were dropped, but not until the mother suffered through several months of court appearances. This incident is only the tip of the iceberg...the conflict attorney appointed by the court to represent the mother, personally informed the mother that if she did not take the plea deal, "You will lose your daughter."
There was no basis for this statement from the defense attorney. They (attorney/judges)get what they want at any cost (including coercing your defense attorney to give the prsecutor what they want by using intimidation tactics...in other words..."Plead guilty to something you did not do or we will take your child from you"
Stand together and fight the injustice in this county.
I'm fighting a bogus evading charge I had a bac of 3.2 and didn't c the cop for a mile or so because I was playing with my radio and was very intoxicated. when I saw him I pulled over and complied they cuffed me then while walking to the car they said I resisted and they authorized force to "detain"me. I was cuffed!!!! they threw me on my face cuffed. then forced me to take a blood test.when I got to jail they said I'm being charged for felony evading. this is my second dui the first in 06. no prior record. now they want to send me to prison for three years. my public defenders trying to get me to plea out to a felony and ruin my life. I told him I'm innocent and he said they can prove it and convict you and you will get three years. I can't afford a lawyer after I got my truck out of impound I have a job but can't come up with 1000 for a retainer can anybody give me advice I'm worried for me and my family's future I'm 30 and know I messed up drinking and driving I'm deeply sorry for that but I dont deserve prison
